Privacy Policy - Debug Wireless Info

This policy describes how the Debug Wireless Info app (the "App"), developed by Simply Luca Apps, handles data related to users and devices. The App shows the device's IP addresses and, once you enable Wireless debugging in Developer options, discovers the live ADB debug IP and port on your own device via local network service discovery (mDNS/NSD) — entirely on your own local network.

Data collected and how it is handled

Debug Wireless Info does not require an account, has no server of its own, and does not send any data over the internet. The App reads network interface information already available on the device (IP addresses) and discovers the ADB Wireless debugging connection endpoint that Android itself advertises on the local network while Wireless debugging is enabled. None of this information ever leaves your device or your local network — there is no analytics, no telemetry, and nothing is transmitted to Simply Luca Apps or to any third party.

The App declares the Android INTERNET permission because it is required by the operating system's network service discovery API (NSD) even though all discovery traffic stays on the local network (multicast DNS). No general internet access is used or needed by the App.

Third-party services used

The App does not integrate any third-party services: no accounts, no cloud, no analytics, advertising, or tracking libraries.

Permissions requested

• Nearby Wi-Fi devices (Android 13+): required by the system to perform local network service discovery, used only to find the ADB Wireless debugging port your own device is advertising on the local network.
• Access Wi-Fi state / Change Wi-Fi multicast state / Access network state: required to read the device's network interfaces and to receive the multicast traffic used by local network discovery.
• Internet: required by the Android NSD API, as explained above; not used for any general internet access.

How to delete your data

Since no data ever leaves your device, there is nothing to request deletion of. You can remove any locally cached state at any time from Settings → Apps → Debug Wireless Info → "Clear data", or by uninstalling the App.

Minimum recommended age

The App does not collect personal data and has no social or user-contact features, so it is not subject to any particular age restriction; it can be used by anyone.
